That said, I realize most Americans have a VERY LIMITED idea of food, particularly outside of meat. (If you want to understand how American's are OBSESSED WITH MEAT, eat vegetarian for a WEEK. You will know.) So, as part of my weight-loss plan for this week, and to educate the public (I'm a teacher, what can I say?) I am going to share what I'm eating every day this week, with both pictures and text.
Monday: Breakfast
I fixed one of my favorite things: a wrap. This tasty thing clocked in around 600 calories. Was made with an extra-large sun-dried tomato tortilla from Winco (280 calories), 4 tbs of pine-nut hummus (140 calories), the rest of the spinach (negligible), paper thin sliced cucumber (negligible), 3 sweet colorful peppers (negligible), feta cheese (70 calories), and mango salsa (50 calories). DELICIOUS. I ate half for breakfast, was full, and ate the rest for lunch.
Yummy! I also had lavender milk tea. (Bliss!)
Lunch: I finished my wrap, and also had a piece of what I THOUGHT was birthday cake. Turns out it was left over FUNERAL cake (Whaat?!) But it was lemon. And I love lemon. With passion. So the cake was not on the plan, but was totally on the menu!
I also had a cookie. Because we had tried to take pictures for the yearbook, but I don't even want to BEGIN to go into everything that went wrong (started with half the school being sick), so I had a cookie.
But not two. SEMI-VICTORY!
When I got home, I was STARVING, but I worked out on the wii-fit (I can do all the yoga poses now much better!), and then had some delicious yakisoba with veggies and fried tofu. The package claimed "hot and spicey" but they lied. Horribly lied.
I also had a glass of chocolate soy milk, and something else that I've forgotten (rats!).
A couple hours later, I was still QUITE hungry, so I made about 3/4 cup of my own trail mix - almonds, cashews and dried cranberries. Then I was no longer hungry, and I went to bed.
I also drank a lot of water.
For breakfast today, I was late, tired, and grumpy. So, I had a banana and a dutch bros chai latte. I am not happy with this, I would have preferred something tasty and delicious, but life kinda moved on without me.

I am planning to have ... ... oh gosh I can't even remember the name of the restaurant ... CAFE YUMM! For lunch. This is kind of a "be nice to Isty" day. ^_^ All righty! N'cha.
